It is very easy to change modes between different string instruments, and you would never worry about playing out of tune anymore with this tuner.

II. Tuning Sequence and Process*It is advisable to begin the tuning process with the 6E string. The 6E string is the thickest among all the strings, and thus has the highest tension.

*By tuning the 6E string first, any significant changes to the guitar's neck can be minimized once the subsequent strings are tuned. The correct sequence for tuning is 6E, 5A, 4D, 3G, 2B, and 1E, tuning the 1E string first and then proceeding in the order from 1E to 6E and back to 1E may result in a change in the pitch of the 1E string.

When tuning the 6E string, pluck the 6E string. If the screen of the tuner shows 6E, it means the pitch has entered the pitch range of the 6E string.

*If the indicator on the tuner is to the left, it indicates that the note is flat (the string peg is loose). In this case, tighten the string peg.

*If the indicator is to the right, it means the note is sharp (the string peg is too tight). Loosen the string peg. Keep adjusting until the indicator is centered and the screen turns green, signifying that the pitch of the string is accurate.

III. Warm NoteWhen an empty string is dialed, the tuner screen will display the pitch range corresponding to the sound produced.*If the pitch deviates significantly from that of the intended string, other notes may be shown. This is a normal occurrence and does not imply a problem with the tuner's quality.

For instance, when tuning the 5A string, if the screen shows 5A, the indicator is centered, and the screen turns green, the string is in tune.*However, if the screen does not show 5A while tuning the 5A string, it might display 4D or 6E. This indicates that the pitch is outside the pitch range of the 5A string, even if the screen is green.

*When tuning the 5A string, 5A represents the bass 'la'.If the screen shows 4D, it means the pitch has reached the mid - range 're', which is three degrees higher than 'la' (5A). The pitch of the string should be lowered to the range of the bass 'la'.*If the screen shows 6E, it means the pitch has only reached the bass 'mi', which is three degrees lower than 'la' (5A). Here, the pitch of the string should be increased to the range of the bass 'la'.

360-degree multi-angle view rotational clip design for the best visibility. This guitar tuner clip on will automatically power off after 3 minutes when no operating.
